Making inspirational places that are great for people to live in.
Places for People is one of the UK’s leading property management, development and regeneration companies. It’s a big organisation with assets worth over £3bn and 148,000 homes owned or under management, but we’re not a faceless one.
We’re what’s referred to as a ‘not-for dividend organisation’, which means that we have no shareholders to pay dividends to, and can re-invest our profits back into the business and the new developments we create.
When designing our developments we apply a sort of 3-dimensional thinking approach – it’s about the quality of the architecture, interiors and environment, but also about all the things a community or neighbourhood needs to thrive. The kind of homes people want and the way they interact with what’s going on around them – the street, the neighbourhood, the local infrastructure, and more.
In Ruskin Square, we’re working with our partners Stanhope and Schroders, who share this 3-dimensional view. So the same kind of thinking will flow seamlessly from the residential to the public spaces, the shops and the offices. And the development will work brilliantly as a whole.
